Reservations
Welcome to the Maine State Park Campground Reservations Service
2025 Reservations begin on:
- 2/3/2025 for ONLY Sebago Lake State Park and Lily Bay State Park (storm date if State Government is closed - 2/4/2025).
- 2/6/2025 for all 12 of the State Park Family Camping sites (storm date if State Government is closed - 2/7/2025).
Internet Reservations continue through to 9/7/2025 until 4:00 p.m.
Reservation Booking Options are through the website, call center phones or by mail only (we no longer accept walk-in reservations).
The Call Center closes on 9/5/2025 at 4:00 p.m.
On 9/8/2025 all campsites become first come/first serve.
Use the Campground Reservations Center to reserve camping sites for groups of 6 or fewer people Maine State Parks.

Important Reservation Dates
2025 Season Reservations:
- Lily Bay State Park AND Sebago Lake State Park - Monday, February 3, 2025 at 9:00 AM, EST (storm date if Maine State Government is closed – Tuesday, February 4, 2025)
- Also on February 3: Group Camping and Picnic Shelter Reservations - but you must call park directly, not the online reservation or Camping Call Center. Locations, Reservation Information, and Phone Numbers to call; no online reservations taken.
- All Parks except Arookstook and Cobscook Bay - Thursday, February 6, 2025 at 9:00 AM, EST (storm date if Maine State Government is closed - Friday, February 7, 2025)
Temporary Park Closure Alert - Aroostook and Cobscook State Parks are temporarily closed due to in-process infrastructure improvements. A reopening date has not been determined, and the hope is to reopen before the end of the 2025 camping season. These park enhancements include the construction of new bathroom facilities and modernized, accessible amenities, as well as underground water and utility upgrades. These investments reflect the Bureau of Parks and Lands’ commitment to providing high-quality recreational spaces while preserving the natural beauty of these popular outdoor destinations. Reservations Call Center hours of operation: 9:00 AM to 4:00PM Monday through Friday from the first business day in February to the second Friday in September (except State and Federal holidays, or if state government is forced to close for storms). The website will remain OPEN 24/7.
